Protecting our Resource Conservation community through environmental stewardship
WHEREAS residents and/or property owners of and adjacent to the Falls Road corridor in the Eighth District of Baltimore County in the State of Maryland, having households and/or properties that are situated in Resource Conservation (RC) zoned areas bounded on the east by I-83, on the north by Shawan Road, Tufton Avenue, on the west by Greenspring Avenue, and on the south by Joppa Road and Greenspring Valley Road, hereinafter referred to as the "Community", are concerned with the maintenance and improvement of those aspects of the Community which reflect upon the quality of life for the residents, and
WHEREAS it is deemed desirable that a non-partisan and non-stock association be formed to represent the general interests of the Community in civic areas and to seek solutions to problems and issues affecting the environment, safety, and betterment of the Community;
NOW, THEREFORE, residents of the Community do herewith associate themselves under the name of FALLS ROAD COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION (hereinafter referred to as the Association or FRCA).
Subject to the approval of the Board of Directors, FRCA may act as an umbrella organization for home owner type organizations within the community when so requested by such organizations.
In addition FRCA may act jointly with other community type organizations in matters of community mutual interest and concern subject to approval of the Board.
Located in the Eighth District of Baltimore County, Maryland, our community is specially designated as Resource Conservation (RC) zoned areas. This zoning prioritizes environmental protection, open space preservation, and sustainable development practices.
As a non-partisan, non-stock association, we focus on protecting our natural environment and community character rather than political affiliations, ensuring all residents have a voice in environmental and civic matters.
